We are excited to share that Agri-Industrial Plastics is this year’s recipient of the 2026 SPE Blow Molding Division Recognition of Excellence Award!
The Recognition of Excellence in Blow Molding is awarded by the SPE Blow Molding Division and presented at the Annual Blow Molding Conference (ABC). Each year, the SPE Blow Molding Division selects a regional molder near the conference site.
“This is a significant honor from our industry peers, and it recognizes much more than the products we make,” says Lori Schaefer-Weaton, president of Agri-Industrial Plastics. “The award celebrates companies that demonstrate innovation, investment in their operations, employee engagement, and a commitment to the blow molding industry and their communities.”
The award will be presented to Agri-Industrial Plastics in October at this year’s conference in Wheeling, Illinois. We are honored that Founder and Chairman of the Board Dick Smith will accept the award on behalf of the company he started in 1978. His vision from the start to do right by his customers and employees continues to guide AIP.
“For nearly 50 years, AIP has grown by investing in technology, developing our employees, taking care of our customers, supporting our community, and continually looking for ways to improve,” Schaefer-Weaton says. “From our multilayer fuel tank technology and automation to our sustainability efforts and employee development, so many people across AIP have played a part in building the company we are today.”
