History of Innovation

Agri-Industrial Plastics Company was founded 1978 in Fairfield, Iowa by Richard K. Smith, one of the original innovators of the blow molding process. From the start, the company was guided by the principles of providing high quality blow molded solutions and putting the customer first. These same values continue to be at the heart of Agri-Industrial Plastics Company today.

Starting out in a small leased corner of a warehouse, with just one used blow molding machine, four employees, and one customer, Agri-Industrial Plastics Company has grown into a state-of-the-art company with 22 industrial blow molding machines, over 110 full-time employees, 350 active molds, in a facility that spans 185,000 square feet on 14 acres. Although our customer list has increased significantly during this time, that very first customer still looks to Agri-Industrial Plastics Company for their custom blow molding needs. This is the true testament to our "customer first" philosophy.

We have an engineering mindset at every stage in the process that enables us to partner with our customers and solve their problems.
